AIR CURTAINS

MARS® Air Doors stabilize
environments, and save energy by minimizing the heated/air conditioned air loss through
open doorways. They also effectively repel flying insects, dust and pollutants.
MARS Industrial ModelsMars® manufactures a variety of sturdy,
reliable and economical units that perform solidly in installations such as warehouses,
industrial plants, municipal buildings, transportation terminals, hospitals, police and
fire stations. Built of durable, fire-retardant paintlock metal with rust- resistant
electrostatic polyurethane powder coating, these industrial air curtains are designed for
long-lasting, maintenance-free use. They offer a variety of air velocities to
control even the most difficult environments, such as dust and smoke to flying insects to
temperature extremes.
Mars industrial strength air curtains conserve energy and improve comfort by keeping
temperatures regulated at acceptable levels. Worker productivity is enhanced by allowing
personnel and cargo to pass freely from one area to another without having to open and
close heavy doors. By providing an unobstructed view through the opening, doorway
accidents are avoided.
WindGuard Series
The Mars WindGuard Heavy Duty Industrial Air Curtain can provide impressive energy savings
of up to 80% to 90% in working environments where doors are left open for more than 10% of
the time during business hours. (For door heights 14' and up.)
Standard, HV
and EP Series
Built for the widest possible number of industrial uses, Mars Standard, High Velocity (HV)
and Extra Power (EP) Series air curtains efficiently keep dirt, dust and insects out of
your food facilities and other areas requiring a clean environment. (For door
heights up to 16'.)
Dynaforce Industrial Models
The Dynaforce Air Curtain is
a mechanical device that produces a "curtain" or "jet" of air that is
discharged either horizontally or vertically across a doorway or opening. An example
of this can be seen in the photo below. Models available include: Insect Control,
Environmental Separation, and Wind Stopping.
This curtain of air
should be full door width (or height if the unit is vertically mounted) for maximum
protection and must have sufficient energy to "stop" or neutralize the effects
of natural winds and in temperature difference. The energy of the curtain is a function of
both CFM and FPM. The other variable is the width of the unit's discharge opening, and
determines the "thickness" of the curtain.
Dynaforce provides a two
year warranty on workmanship and material. We also have a payback analysis / justification
program available. All Dynaforce products are produced in our factory to the highest
quality standards.
